The difference between Victoria Vynn Salon and Pure gel polish

  • 2 min reading time

One of the most frequently asked questions is what exactly is the difference between the two different gel polish lines from Victoria Vynn.

Victoria Vynn Pure Gel gel polish

Let's start with the Pure line, the gel polish in the white bottles. That is the most special line. If you use both the base coat and the color and top coat of the Pure line, you can soak them off with a remover based on alcohol instead of acetone. Victoria Vynn has developed the Alco Remover for this. It is also possible to use a traditional gel polish remover with acetone.

Another feature of the Pure line is that this gel polish is highly pigmented. This makes the polish somewhat creamier and thicker. It is always very important to apply gel polish thinly, but with a highly pigmented polish this is even more important. If you apply gel polish with a lot of pigment too thickly, it will not be cured thoroughly in the lamp and may wrinkle.

Finally, the bottles of the Pure gel polish line have a somewhat shorter brush. Whether or not you like this to paint with is a matter of personal preference.

Victoria Vynn Salon Gel gel polish

The Salon line in the black bottles is the most famous line of Victoria Vynn. The Salon colors offer the largest variation in finishes. In addition to various cream polishes, there are also cateyes, glitter gel polish, gel polish with a subtle shimmer and even the newest reflective flash glitter gel polish that lights up when you shine a bright light on it, such as when taking a photo with a flash.

The brush of the Salon gel polish is long and thin and the Salon colours can only be removed with an acetone-based remover.

COMBINING VICTORIA VYNN PURE AND SALON GEL NAIL POLISH

All products from the Pure and Salon line can be combined with each other. So you can simply apply the No Wipe Gloss or Unblue top over a Pure color. Please note! As soon as you combine the products from the Pure line with the Salon line, you can no longer remove with the AlcoRemover but only with acetone-based remover.
